Ultras sound video

I had another ultra sound today. This time it was with a different doctor. I am not going back to the first one for many reasons. This doctor remeasured the baby and changed a few dates. The baby is now due on Dec. 31st instead of Jan. 3. Which means, since I will have to have a c-section, they will schedule it before Christmas. I am also 12 weeks and 5 days. The baby is just over 2 inches long. I am still getting terrible sickness. The doctor is having my blood checked for thyroid problems. I just hope it goes away soon. I can't keep breakfast or dinner down. I can usually keep down lunch. I think it is because I take a nap when the girls do shortly after lunch so I can lay down and let my stomach settle.  This doctor also has a 3D ultrasound machine that he switched over to while examining the little tyke. He let me record it so Joe can watch it.

I really feel bad that I don't pull out the camera more. I think I would if I felt better. Hopefully that will be really soon since I am into my second trimester now. Here are just a couple pictures for you to enjoy followed by a clip.

Zoo

Valerie painted all of our finger nails. The girls love showing off their pretty fingers. Here is a clip of Melody blowing her fingers dry.

Bethany wanted to help. She grabbed the brush and painted Melody's toe. She wanted to do the toe nail but missed.

We were so excited to talk to daddy on the phone last night before bed.

Today was military day at the zoo. We spent a couple of hours there this morning having fun looking at all the animals and trying to stay dry during the downpour.

After the rain the girls played in every water puddle they could find. This is them splashing in a puddle just their height.

While Valerie went to mutual tonight at the church, the girls and I hung out at the nursery.

Sorry I have not posted the last few days. I have been exceptionally sick. I don't know why it is labeled "morning" sickness. It should be "all day" sickness. Tomorrow I am 12 weeks. I hope that means that soon I will be done with the first trimester blah feeling. I have not taken as many pictures as I would have if I could peel myself off the couch to get the camera.

The last few days the girls have been pulling out their toys with wheels and driving them all through the house.

I was in the mood for a fruit smoothie today. I gave the girls a little bit so they would leave me alone. Of course that did not work, they wanted to drink mine before they finished theirs. Melody was determend to get every last drop out of her and Bethany's cups.

Melody's hair is getting so long. We can finally put it in a pony tail!

Bethany got the lid off of the lotion and was putting it on her and Melody's face.

all by myself

I am finally starting to get a few bursts of energy here and there. I forgot how tired I get during the first trimester. I am just over 11 weeks along so I am getting close to the end of the nautious phase. Thank goodness. During my few burst of energy, I made sure I spent the time reading and playing with the girls. We even went to story time today where we sung about potatoes and rainbows. I forgot my camera.

Funny story. We had to run to the store for a few items. The girls were in the shopping carts with the attached cars. I took Bethany out to put her in her carseat. Valerie thought that I also got Melody out so she pushed the "empty" cart back. Little Melody didn't make a sound, she just sat in the car driving. I saw her pushing the cart and asked her if she was going to get Melody or are we going to leave her behind in her car. Valerie laughed so hard. She immediatly got Melody out and we desided to take her home with us.

Bethany is pointing to the apple and telling me what it is. 

We made chicken fried steak tonight. The girls helped shake the bag with the flour and meat in it.

My little pony came out tonight. Both girls spent some time brushing the ponies hair.

We're Back!!!

I am going to try and get back into the swing of things with posting everyday. I have just been so tired by the end of the night. I go to bed nearly right after the girls. For those of you who want to see what Joe has been up to during his deployment, here are a couple of pictures.

As you can see, he has it hard. I will try and get the energy to post some of the other pictures we took of our visit before the end of the week.

My sister, Valerie, drove back from Florida with me. We got back Monday night. The drive went by faster then we thought it would. Yesterday we took the girls to story time. They must have just bought a bubble machine. The girls loved it!!!

Today Bethany had to get some blood drawn. She said it hurt.
