While Joe's Away: Stripping in church

Yet again the girls woke up way too early. What ever happened to the days they slept in until 7:30-8 am. We were up by 6:00. I brought them in my room and kept the light off. What Bethany is using for a phone is the control to my heating pad. My back still hurts from all the coughing I have been doing. She ended up pulling it hard enough that she unplugged it. I guess I was done.

They were done sitting on the bed. On my night stand I had the remote to the light and my phone. They each grabbed on. Bethany turned on the lights (I was not ready for the brightness yet) and Melody took off with my phone.

So I got them ready for church before I took my shower this morning. I came out to find their dresses on the floor.

Joe's mom was so sweet to make these beautiful Easter dresses for the girls. She knows how difficult it is for me to sometimes get the girls ready so she put Velcro in the back instead of buttons. Unfortunately, it is also very easy for the girls to take off. In church today, while I was bending over pulling Bethany's bloomers back up, Melody took off her dress. Several people noticed the strip show happening in our row.

The girls really like their belly buttons. They were taking the cord from the toy bus and poking it in their belly buttons. I think Bethany started the game and it caught on. They wanted to do mine, but I didn't let them.

They were so cute in Nursery that I snuck a picture through the window.

Nursery must have worn them out. They passed out on the way home.

I brought them in the house and let them snooze while I made them lunch. They did not budge.

Melody found a new hat.

You would have been so proud if you saw how Melody figured out how to carry both baskets and the bus. She at first tried to carry them all separate, but it was too much to handle. She then stacked the baskets so she could carry them with one hand and the bus in the other.
