Bethany woke up screaming at 4am. When I asked her what she wants, she said "eat". I guess after all these days of not eating very much, she was starving. Melody joined us of course. Melody slept in my bed most of the night. I think she is not feeling well because of the hand foot and mouth disease. I think Bethany has it. It is really hard to tell since she has only a few bumps and one blister. Hopefully that is all she will get and she just has a very mild case of it. The girls had tons of energy. I really don't know how they get that much energy if they get up at 4am. Thankfully they went back to sleep for two more hours.
Here are some pictures taken through the day. There should be more, but I was feeling so lethargic today.
Here is a clip of Melody cleaning her chin with the spoon after it dripped out of her mouth while feeding herself cereal.
Yesterday and today the girls have been putting their swim suits over their shorts.
Here is a clip of Melody searching for the mosquito that kept trying to get them.
Bethany drawing happy. Joe, I guess you can see some of the garage in here.
Snack time. I cut out pieces of bread with a heart shape cookie cutter.
For lunch we had spaghetti o's Bethany did not want to eat any. So instead she smeared it all over.
The relief society pres. heard about the girls so she was so sweet to swing by with some groceries. She brought the girls some fruit pops. They loved them!
Here is a clip:
here are a couple of pictures of Bethany's foot. She has a blister on her toe:
Can you see the red bump near the bottom of the pad of her big toe.
She also has a tiny bump on the side of her mouth, but she would not hold still for a picture.
Melody has it worse than Bethany, but still very mild compared to most cases. She does have bumps all up her legs, around her ankles, mouth, hands and bottom but no big blisters except for the ones around her mouth. Bethany might have a blister or two in her mouth since it was very hard to get her to eat most of the day... except for breakfast at 4am.
