We stayed inside all day

Both Bethany and Melody are sick which means I have not had any sleep and did not get anything done today. At 1:30. am Bethany was coughing a lot so I got the vics steamer set up for their room. As soon as I opened the door, Melody popped up out of bed. I didn't want her to wake Bethany so I took her in bed with me. She started to sing and kick her feet. She thought it was play time. When I noticed it was 2:17 am, I put her in the pack'n'play in the guest room. She fell right asleep! Go figure.
Melody woke up with a fever and the cough as well. I knew I was not going to get anything done when she just followed me around the house crying.

I gave in and let her lay on me most of the day. It was easier then hearing her cry. She sounded pitiful.

Bethany had the cough, but seemed to feel ok. She enjoyed sitting on the couch most of the day watching the Muppet's.

Melody's temp got up to 101. She was not feeling good.

At one point today, Bethany got a hold of the thermometer. She saw me putting it under Melody's arm so she was putting it under poohs arm to check his temp.

After a much needed nap (Melody didn't sleep very well or long, so I

laid down with her. I was not very comfortable and my arm fell asleep, but I didn't dare move since she was finally getting the rest she needed. They both took about a 2 1/2 hour nap. My arm hurt for a long time after the nap.

At least they seemed to be feeling better after. There was still some fussing and coughing, but at least they played a little. Here they are hiding behind their chairs.

I hope tonight is a better night. I NEED some sleep!
