Happy Easter. Although we didn't celebrate today since the girls and I are still sick. I didn't feel like getting them all dressed up to take pictures. We will have to do that some time this week. We were sad that we have not heard from Joe all day....
We started the day off with oatmeal. I figured the girls would like the nice warmth on their throats.
Bethany's mouth is so full, the oatmeal is starting to leak out.
I left the garage door open for a minute. They ran inside and got into my crafts.
Melody just got yelled at since she threw away some of my crafts. They are starting to call everything trash.
We blew up some balloons today. The girls chased them all day long. Several popped, which scared them, a few got slow leaks in them when Bethany kept squeezing them with her fingernails.
They do not have a fever, but they wanted their temperatures taken anyways.
They still get really tired fast. Bethany laid down for a minute while watching a church video.
Melody started a game where they slid across the floor on their bottoms. Melody went backward and Bethany went forward.
After all that sliding on the floor, Melody took a quick break.
They then went right back to it, but this time slid Tigger and Pooh across the floor.
I don't see what their fascination is with the dripping water.... they decided they were thirsty today.
We made homemade egg noodles in the shapes of stars and hears. They were not as good as the recipe Joe's mom gave us for dumplings, but they were not bad.
I was cleaning my bathroom when I noticed one of the girls grabbing something and running. A few minutes later I saw this...... Deodorant spread all over the floor. It was in the living room, hallway, dining room... I still have not found the deodorant bar.
Look at the little finger prints and how they smeared it in.
Poor Melody. She has had a runny nose all day. She got to the point that she was wiping her own nose. She then wiped Tiggers and Bethany did Poohs. Unfortunatly I did not get that picture.
I heard yelling later in the evening about something being stuck. They threw their balloons in the pack'n'play and could not get them out.
As always, I am look forward to the evening when I have a few minutes to myself when I put them to bed. I love them dearly, but they wear me out!
Messy messy! But oh so cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we'll find the lost deodorant stick before we move :-)
