We had another long and eventful day. The girls started the day looking out the window for daddy. I wonder if they will do that the whole time Joe is away.
They then realized they have a new toy. Mommy put the curtains up. You can guess who is hiding behind the curtain.
I spent some time last night cleaning up the dining room, office and sun room. I am trying to do a room or so a day. The sun room is now a play area.
The far window in the sun room fell down. So I had to lift the one that is suppose to move in a permanent up position so the window is mostly closed again. I worry about putting the girls stuff too close to that window in case that falls.
Today I started the diet and the exercising again. The girls make it hard when they lounge on my equipment.
The librarian was nice enough to give the girls little Easter bunnies. They handed them out at story time yesterday, but since we missed it, the girls didn't get one. How long do you think it took them to break the rabbits...... all of ten minutes. They were walking hand and hand (so cute) to the fairchild library when they tripped on the sidewalk and landed on their bunnies. Oh no!! said the girls.
The side walk up ahead is the one they tripped on.
We dropped off Joe's overdue book then preceded to be told we were making too much noise in the library. The girls were having fun sticking their head through the hole in the magnetic reader.
As soon as we left the library, the girls split up and took off running. While I chased Melody down, the Librarian was keeping Bethany out of a conference room that was in use. We left as fast as we could after that. With all the excitement, the girls took a short nap on the way home. I wish I could have taken a quick nap.
As soon as we got home, they were reenergized and ready to go. They were having fun looking at me upside down through their legs.
Melody came up to me this evening telling me she had a gross. She then layed down on the bean bag thinking I would change her diaper while she lounged.
They were hiding their eyes durring dinner. They got macaroni all throught their hair and all over their face.
Here are some cute pictures of the girls talking to Joe through the webcam. Well, mostly of Bethany since Melody was cranky and out of sorts since she bit her tongue eating dinner.
Here are the pictures I sent to dad of the broken mower.
I just could not get the fountain together. It makes me sad.
Well, I have a list to do tonight. I am going to sign off and seal the grout in the dining room
Love you.
Great post, sweetie. I love the picture of them holding hands and walking. Heartwarming and heartwrenching to see them looking out the window...
